GENERAL DESCRIPTION
We are currently looking for a skilled Senior Information Security Analyst to join our team. This role involves utilizing technical expertise and knowledge of information systems to develop and implement an information security risk management program. The responsibilities of this position include conducting system-wide security analysis, risk assessments, and developing technical standards and procedures. You will be responsible for working with MSP to monitor security logs, assessing risks, and coming up with strategies to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information resources. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and provide technical insights to enhance our security architecture.
FOCUS
Responsibilities:

Cloud Security:
Provide guidance on security controls for cloud solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Ensure appropriate security measures are in place to safeguard various cloud-based applications.
Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to design and implement secure cloud architectures.
Monitor cloud security configurations, access controls, and encryption mechanisms.
Conduct regular security assessments of cloud environments, including Vulnerability Assessments and penetration testing.
Stay informed about cloud security best practices and emerging threats.

Incident Response:
Promptly identify, investigate, and mitigate security incidents.
Lead incident response efforts, coordinate with relevant teams, and document actions taken during incident resolution.
Develop incident response playbooks and ensure preparedness for handling security incidents effectively.

Risk Assessments:
Evaluate the risk posture of systems, applications, and processes.
Identify vulnerabilities, assess their impact, and prioritize based on risk severity.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business context and criticality.

Vulnerability Management:
Regularly scan systems, applications, and network infrastructure for vulnerabilities.
Prioritize vulnerabilities and work with relevant teams to remediate them promptly.

Threat Management:
Monitor emerging threats, attack techniques, and vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with threat intelligence providers and analyze threat data.
Implement threat detection mechanisms (e.g., IDS, SIEM).

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
Work closely with IT, development, and business units.
Provide technology direction and insight across business groups.
Design and implement next-generation infrastructure components using emerging technologies.
Contribute to security enhancements and proactive measures.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS
Must have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of 45 to 55 hours a week.
Must be able to engage in problem-solving skills to help identify and solve potential issues in the field.
Must be able to communicate heavily through telephone, e-mail and in-person communications
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND BEHAVIORS

Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
5+ years experience in Information Security Risk.
Strong understanding of security principles and practices.
Proficiency in Active Directory (AD) monitoring and security scripting.
Familiarity with vulnerability management and threat intelligence.
Knowledge of cloud security and network architecture.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of server and desktop configurations related to security.
