Job Description
Aerotek is currently seeking candidates with any kind of MIG welding experience for a long-term career with a manufacturing company in Southern Illinois. No formal welding certification/education is required.
Job Description
Welders will be:
+ Performing MIG welding on a variety of projects on a daily basis
+ Working in a “job shop” enviornment where projects may differ on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
+ Reading and interpreting blueprints to assure first-time quality of products
+ Exercising creativity and a strong attention to detail while welding

Shifts Available
+ 1st shift: 5:00am-3:30pm, Monday – Thursday (Overtime on Fridays and/or Saturdays when necessary)
+ 2nd shift: 3:30pm-2:00am, Monday – Thursday (Overtime on Fridays and/or Saturdays when necessary)
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Red Bud, Illinois.
Work Environment
Our work environment is a typical production warehouse with roughly 10-15 different welding bays operating simultaneously. The workspace can be loud at times and is not climate controlled.
