Position Highlights:
Position: Speech Language Pathologist
Department: Acute Care Services
Location: Main Hospital, Swedish
Hours: 8am-430pm/ minimum of 1-2 weekend days per month
Shift: Day Shift
Part time/Full Time: Full Time-Per Diem
What you will need:
The completion of a degree in Speech/Language Pathologyorthe equivalent
CurrentIllinoislicensure or eligibility.
American Speech/Language Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competenceor eligibility
CPRcertification from American Heart Association.
Acute Care experience preferred
General Summary:
Reporting to the Rehab Services Manager or Rehabilitation Supervisor with accountability to the Director and Team, performs evaluations, treatment planning, goal setting and develops and implements individual Speech Pathology therapy programs designed to improve and maximize patient independent functioning within their physical limitations.
