What You Can Expect
The Business Development Manager, Senior is responsible for leading the development strategies for targeting clients, building organizational partnerships, and strategic alliances with non-profits, regional organizations, and technology accelerators. In this role you are working with client executives from project conceptualization through to construction and implementation.

You will come in with proven success in the energy conservation, renewable energy, and/or design-build space. Day to day you will be tasked with creating opportunities within assigned accounts, verticals, and geographic focus areas. Your responsibilities will include building, maintaining, and expanding relationships across all levels within an account. Maintaining professionalism will be crucial as you represent the company.

Working collaboratively as part of a cross-functional project development team, you'll engage in activities such as project finance, operations, legal, marketing, and communications to secure new business and ensure customer satisfaction. Leading customer meetings, contract negotiations, and presenting at public Board or Council meetings will also be part of your routine. You'll maintain a revenue and margin quota, as well as a robust sales funnel, while scheduling appointments and meetings with customers to review program opportunities and success parameters. In this role you will identify and engage with multiple stakeholders within customer organizations and surrounding communities, while attending critical networking and trade show events to obtain leads, and present a positive public image of ENGIE.


What You'll Bring

A Bachelor's Degree in which you learned consultative and/or complex sales best practices
A minimum of seven (7) years similar work experience
Experience in a quota-driven sales environment, exceeding sales production targets


Additional Details
This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
Must be available to travel domestically up to 50% of the time
Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license/clean driving record; ability to drive to canvas and market your territory
Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies


Compensation
Salary Range: $112,000 - $172,500 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
