The Opportunity

Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Regional Vice President to join our Global Field Technology Services team. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with Technology teams and Operations, where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. The Role

This role is responsible for over 140 colleagues and a direct budget exceeding $10M. Responsible for evaluating the IT requirements for full-service hotels and recommending new systems and processes to ensure high guest and general management support. Utilizes strong business and hotel industry-specific acumen to ensure that all new investments are aligned with company strategy. Creates plans for replacing key hotel systems and coordinates these activities between hotel operations and IT. Also responsible for overseeing new hotel openings and transitions, corporate offices, and support of Franchise IT teams.

-Supervises team of Hotel and Corporate technology specialists.

-Directs the design, procurement, and implementation of global hotel technologies.

-Establishes clear hotel technology standards and guidelines and communicates as appropriate.

-Actively participates in major corporate governance and compliance activities.

-Manages a budget exceeding $10M.

-Presents recommendations to IT Leadership and/or Americas Operations leadership as appropriate.

-Assists with the establishment of 5-year plans and strategies for IT.

- Supervisor openings and Transition team, processes, and schedules.

-Establishes communication channels with Franchise IT operators and IT Services groups.

-Demonstrates a commitment to Hyatt’s core values.

Qualifications:

Experience Required:

-10 – 15 years of IT management experience with escalating responsibilities

-5 – 10 years of hotel IT support / IT management experience

Experience Preferred:

-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, MIS, or Computer Science is preferred
