Job Summary:
As an Accounting Representative, Metform, you will conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects. You will play a key role in tracking our organization's financial progress and guiding decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze financial information for assigned accounts, products, or business units to track progress against financial goals.
- Report current or expected financial performance and create financial models to guide decision-making.
- Analyze cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to recommend actions or modifications to financial procedures and plans.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements.
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
- Adhere to 5S standards by maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education:
- Work under direct supervision.
- Handle basic issues and problems, referring more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Possess a beginning to working knowledge of finance.
- Typically require a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking skills.
- Basic statistical knowledge.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
