Innovation Engagement Specialist

The Innovation Engagement Specialist will develop and implement engagement programs, facilitate innovation forums, and coordinate the innovation fellow program. This role involves crafting narratives about our innovation efforts, organizing innovation challenges, and collaborating across departments to support innovative projects. The Specialist will monitor the impact of initiatives, foster a collaborative environment, and stay updated on industry trends, providing administrative support for all innovation-related activities.

Position Highlights:

Position: Innovation Engagement Specialist

Location: Warrenville, IL

Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

Hours: Monday-Friday, during normal business hours

Required Travel: travel to other Endeavor Health locations may be required

What you will do:

Develop and implement educational programs on innovation for staff, including webinars, newsletters, and workshops.

Set up and facilitate innovation forums to showcase ongoing innovation initiatives within the organization.

Assist with development of the innovation fellow program and primary coordinator of this initiative. .

Craft and disseminate compelling narratives about our innovation efforts to both internal and external audiences.

Organize and manage innovation challenges to inspire and capture new ideas from staff.

Collaborate with various departments to identify innovation opportunities and support the development of innovative projects.

Monitor and evaluate the impact of innovation programs and initiatives, providing regular updates and reports to leadership.

Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creative thinking and problem-solving.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in healthcare innovation.

Provide administrative and logistical support for all innovation-related events and activities.

What you will need:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Marketing, Communication, or 2-3 years' experience in related field, required.

Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) / Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) or greater certification, preferred

Experience:

A minimum of 2-4 years of healthcare or business experience with an emphasis in project management, innovation development, information technology, marketing or planning.

A minimum of two years of proven project management experience managing large, complex, cross functional and high risk projects.

Unique or Preferred Skills:

An understanding of healthcare operations and the associated complexity

Ability to work in a diverse environment with focus on customer service

Excellent internal and external, and written and verbal communication skills

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
