Job Description

Summary
Performs the day to day functions in the production of all products manufactured, the building cleaning and maintenance, the shipping and receiving functions, the warehousing and storage functions, and assists the Operations and Quality Departments in achieving their goals.

Job Skills
Daily cycle counting
ERP inventory experience to complete adjustments, review current inventory and research inbound/outbound transactions
Warehouse experience
Forklift certified
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To include the following, other duties may be assigned:
Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensures that the offices, warehouse, and the manufacturing facilities are clean and sanitary; follows specific SOPs and Work Instructions for Controlled and Certified areas; documents and reports work performed, issues, resource needs, and supply needs to management.
Shipping and Receiving: Ensures all material leaving the building is packaged and shipped in an appropriate manner; considers the Inventory Control, Material Handling, and Customer specific needs; Ensures all material entering the building is received properly and placed in the appropriate area. Documents and reports work performed, issues, resource needs, and supply needs to management.
Work orders and Manufacturing: Executes Work Orders, ensures manufactured processes are executed according to their respective SOPs, Work Instructions, Forms, Drawings, and other related documents. Documents and reports work performed, resource needs, and supply needs to management.
Inspections: Assists Quality Assurance with Incoming Receiving Inspections, Warehouse and Material Inspections, In Process during Manufacturing Inspections, and Shipping Inspections; Follows specific SOPs, Work Instructions, Material Specification and Instructions, and other related documents. Documents inspections results where required.
Environmental Monitoring: Performs Environmental Monitoring per SOPs, Work Instructions, and other related documentation for specified area; Documents and records data where required.

Qualifications

Education / Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 2 years related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, correspondence, and memos; ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions; ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Computer Skills:  Ability to demonstrate basic Microsoft Windows skills, basic spreadsheet, word processor, and email skills. Ability to be trained on other software as needed for data entry and report generation.
Certificate / Licenses: No certificate or licenses needed unless operating vehicles or equipment requiring a license to operate..
Management and Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct management or supervisory responsibilities required; the ability to guide, demonstrate, and train others is required.
