What We DoManages a systematic framework for all company, branch, loan originator (LO), licensing, continuing education and reporting. Responsible for identifying state and federal changes in licensing requirements for the purposes of advising senior management on applicable changes and maintaining compliance.

The Licensing & Exam Specialist will be responsible for overseeing, preparing, and maintaining various state lenders, collection, broker licenses, corporate filings, reports, and renewals at ServiceMac. This position will also assist in managing Ginnie Mae and third-party compliance reviews and diligences which will include satisfying document requests and overseeing the review process. Qualified candidates will have a proven background conducting compliance reviews.

What You'll Do
Maintain Company's approximately 97 state servicing, lender, broker and collection agency licenses
Track and assist with individual licensing (ServiceMac does not originate loans but we have MLOs as required based on our business efforts and licenses we hold)
Handle renewals, licensing items and new license in current and future new states
Oversee and managing all NMLS online system related matters related to licensing and registration
Oversee, handle and process annual filings and reports with various Secretary of State offices
Implement any change management items relating to licensing
Maintain and update licensing procedural manuals, job aides and tools
Serve as point of contact on GNMA and third-party compliance reviews
Coordinate with internal business partners at all levels of management to complete requests and inquiries for GNMA and third-party compliance reviews.
Keeps others adequately informed

What You'll Bring
Five (5) + years of recent licensing experience in the mortgage industry
Two (2) + years managing exams, audits or compliance reviews
Experience in the NMLS system for licensing in the mortgage industry (MLOs, company, and branch licenses).
Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, including the ability to prioritize workload to meet critical deadlines
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers, peers, and management
Detail oriented
Integrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential information

Salary Range: $24.74 - $43.05 hourly

This hiring range is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the salary range of possible compensation at the time of the posting and is subject to change. The actual compensation offered will be determined by various factors, which may include a candidate's education, training, experience, and geographic location.
