Job Description

Senior IT Quality Analyst to drive quality for all small to large projects (over $150K, over 200 hours of effort) across the software platform and business function. Will lead quality testing across major product, project, and programs by providing the appropriate test strategy and performance of test execution in a timely manner. Apply clear understanding of the business processes and serve as primary QA Lead and point of contact for testing, verification and validation for the project team. Engage with subject matter experts to facilitate QA deliverables including test planning, test execution status reporting, root cause analysis and defect triaging, requirement traceability matrix and on demand test deliverables.

  • Create test strategy for various test phases functional test, integration test, regression test & UAT.
  • Lead business requirement session from a QA perspective. Participate in workshops with IT business analysts, managers, HR staff, Payroll staff and HR leadership during the requirements and software design phases.
  • Estimate scope of work for project life cycle and translate it to test design.
  • Create QA plan for Workday projects detailing the scope and objectives of the project, test approach or strategy to be followed, test data, test schedule, incident management, defining entry and exit criteria, test deliverables, defining roles and responsibilities for the team, planning risk and contingencies and seek approval from managers and functional leaders.
  • Design, execute and help execute test cases in Word, Excel, SharePoint, or HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
  • Apply experience with any of the following testing tools: Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Unified Functional Testing (UFT), LoadRunner, Kainos Smart.
  • Apply knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall development life cycles.
  • Apply experience performing Systems Integration Testing (SIT), End to End (E2E) Testing, and Parallel Testing.
  • Coordinate and lead UAT and get the UAT signoff, perform defect triage calls with project team.
  • Ensure all testing deliverables are completed in accordance with CF’s Project Management methodology.
  • Experience with any of the following defect management tools: HP ALM, Jira, BugZilla.
  • Apply experience creating requirements traceability matrices.
  • Prepare test metrics reports and communicate to project leadership.
  • Provide guidance to other testers.
  • Apply expert level with Microsoft Office Products: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Outlook.
