Job Description
Position Overview:
This position serves as the crucial interface between Quality, Engineering, and Project Management. The role involves direct interaction with Process and Product Development, Process Engineering, Plant Quality Operations, Corporate Quality functions, and customers. The objective is to ensure that new products and processes are launched with accurate and consistent drawings, specifications, validations, capabilities, inspection plans, and process parameters. This position identifies functional capabilities of advanced metrology and inspection systems, evaluates their performance, validates their functional utility, implements them, and supports these systems over time. This role encompasses training and mentoring Plant Quality Managers and Quality Engineers across the business.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Design / Develop / Implement / Perform Equipment Validations.
Develop, validate, implement, and support advanced metrology and inspection systems.
Provide essential statistical and process support to stablish baseline operating parameters for all machine platforms. Analyze dimensional data from samples, mold qualifications, and in-plant production data and produce validation studies and report for customer acceptance.
Develop Mold Qualification Protocols and Statistical Sampling Plans used at various manufacturing sites as the integral part of the mold acceptance and validation process.
Provide corporate level, multi-plant, multi-product, multi-process analytical expertise and support to Quality Engineering Management support to our Mold, Process Development, Project Managers, Corporate Quality and our Manufacturing Sites.
Establish strong working relationships with key customers for continuous improvement and advance quality planning.
Identify and implement corrective actions to improve products and processes
Coordinate and assure uniformity among Plant-level Quality Managers and Quality Engineers

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree at minimum, with professional accreditations
Ten years or more of related experience including Pharmaceutical Packaging and Production Systems Validation
Statistics / SPC, ISO 9000 experience, Six-Sigma Greenbelt principles and techniques preferred
Professional level knowledge of polymers and processes, with strong expertise in plastic bottle and closure packaging
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop excellent working relationships with various technical disciplines, customers, and suppliers
Proven and strong Project Management Skills
Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership.
Strong technical writing skills
Travel: 40%, required, 80% or more, if remote, expected
