Sonova is seeking a Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to support procurement activities in the areas of HR, Professional Services, and IT across all Sonova companies in the Americas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying effective procurement strategies, managing supplier relations, and ensuring cost-effective purchases that align with company goals and standards. The role will co-manage a spend of 100MUSD across all Sonva business units and companies in the Americas.
More about the role:
Strategic Procurement Planning:
Implement procurement strategies in the assigned categories.
Analyze market trends and adapt procurement strategies accordingly.
Supplier Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve favorable conditions.
Knows local supplier market in the respective categories
Cost Management:
Continuously seek cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
Monitor and report on cost-related performance metrics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with various departments to understand their procurement needs.
Ensure alignment of procurement activities with overall business objectives.
Policy and Compliance:
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and legal standards.
Stay updated with relevant regulations and market changes.
Project Management:
Lead and manage procurement projects from conception to completion.
Address any challenges that arise during the procurement process.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Present procurement strategies and results to senior management
More about you:
Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, ideally in the area of Professional Services.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
P2P and SAP Experience
