Job Description
Position Highlights:
Location: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL
Full Time/Part Time: Part-Time
Hours: 12:00pm to 8:30pm, and every Saturday and/or Sunday.
Holiday Schedule: 2 per year, on-call only
What you will need:
High School Diploma or GED
Strong computer skills
Ability to troubleshoot problems as related to the software
At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) or ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI Technologists) certification.
Current CPR certification issued the by American Heart Association or Red Cross
What you will do:
Operates MRI equipment to obtain filmed images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures. Positions patients administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high quality exam. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
