Northshore Edward Elmhurst Health is actively recruiting experienced Emergency Department nurse practitioners and physician assistants to join our team. Education:
Degree from an accredited physician assistant training program
Master's level training preferred.

Licensure and Certifications:
Current IL Physician Assistant License
Current DEA and Controlled Substance License
Current Certification as a physician assistant by the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

Experience:
Current ACLS/PALS
2 years of emergency medicine experience preferred.

APN candidates must meet the following requirements:
Master's degree in nursing (MSN of MS)
Certification in area of specialty
ACLS and PALS
DEA
2 years Emergency Department experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse
Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license
Current State of Illinois Advance Practice Nurse license and a collaborative practice agreement
Current CPR Certification issued by either the American Heart Association or Red Cross
