PURPOSE

According to the prescribed policies and procedures of the organization including all applicable federal, state and local regulations and under the general supervision of the SVP, HR / Chief Human Resources Officer, the VP of HR Operations will play a critical role in driving day-to-day efficiency in the HR domain and effectively supporting our business. The role will be responsible for overseeing the operational work of HR, including employee relations and compliance, leave management, talent acquisition, and workforce management and analytics. This role will work collaboratively with business partners including IT to assess and implement HR technology initiatives. This role will lead the HR team that tackles operational activities to positively affect the business. Reporting to the CHRO, this role will collaborate closely with HR Centers of Excellence leaders and HRBPs, as well as other key business stakeholders to identify opportunities to promote functional efficiency and service excellence.

This position is hybrid, and the incumbent is expected to be in office at least three (3) days per week.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Identify and support the redistribution of administrative and transactional work
Design, implementation, management, and optimization of HR core processes and policies
Partner with key stakeholders to oversee employee data management processes to ensure data is secured and maintained within policy and industry standards
Formulation and leadership of the vision and strategy for HR operations with a focus on practical solutions to deliver to the business on efficiencies, cost savings, reporting and accuracy for HR processes, including:
Talent acquisition workflows
Workforce management (including overseeing the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the organization's workforce development programing such as relationships with schools)
Employee relations
Leave management
Work in partnership with the HRBPs and Learning & Development to develop, initiate and maintain programs for workforce retention, promotion and succession planning
Provide professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of the candidate review process that is required to achieve business goals and results in the creation of top candidates.
Partner with executives to ensure effective sourcing and recruiting strategies that result in client satisfaction
Ensure that HR policies and procedures facilitate National Church Residences' strategic priorities, while meeting regulatory and legal requirements.
Provide implementation guidance and support to management on company policies, procedures, and processes
Oversee teams to provide targeted and advance analytical solutions to drive enhanced talent outcomes in the business (both descriptive analytics and predictive analytics)
Partner with business and IT to optimize digital technology within HR
Partner with HRBPs to identify employee needs and develop/manage employee relations support
Participate in organizational planning in support of evolving and identifying future workforce talent needs and skill gaps. Create workforce planning models that support the ever-growing talent needs of the organization.
Work with marketing team to create and execute an employment brand (messaging, signage, and other collateral) that supports the organization's employment value proposition.
