Responsibilities
Manchester Tank and Equipment is hiring for full time Day Shift Plant Floater. Responsibilities listed as followed:
Manage the operating of all types of machines and work to ensure that they are well maintained.
Reads and interprets blueprints, tape measures, schedules, or product specifications.
Sets up and operates fabricating machines according to the specifications.
Welds fabricated, cast and stamped components to assemble tanks and pressure vessels.
Place and remove fittings from the cylinders by following appropriate protocol.
Inspects cylinders for visual defects.
Tests cylinders for structural defects.
Work to adjust and operate speed and control the load of the machines.
Monitor the finished products obtained to ensure the quality conforms to specifications.
Rejects defective parts, and marks defects accordingly.
Manual handling with placing cylinders in workstation.
