Job Description

Staffmark is hiring a Warehouse Coordinator for a reputable distribution company in Elk Grove Village, IL. If you're seeking long-term stability and a positive warehouse environment, this opportunity is perfect for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Shift: 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of all production documents for warehouse shipments. You will verify packets and paperwork by US Customers Rules and Regulations, ensuring that freight and cargo are properly handled, identified, and documented. You will also sort out overages, shortages, damage, and mis-loads, and continually update the system with the current status of shipments. Additionally, you will act as a point person to relay carrier concerns and issues to the customer service center.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for an entire shift
Strong communication skills and teamwork
Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel
Previous logistics experience preferred
