Job Description

  • Coordinate and execute Streetscape and Infrastructure improvement projects
  • Prepare unit price estimation & micro-planning schedule of various construction activities
  • Review project plans and proposals to determine schedule, available resources, staffing requirements and procedures for accomplishing project during various phases of project
  • Conduct pre-bid & negotiation meeting to finalize the subcontractors
  • Prepare/document submittals, Request For Information (RFI) and Request For Inspection of materials (RFIM’s) form required for the project.
  • Develop project schedule & monitor the schedule with respect to time, cost and quality 
  • Assist with preparation of written reports/updates of project activities and schedule for the client and project team to ensure a clear understanding of project status and conformance
  • Ensure that productivity, quality and safety standards are being met and monitor quality and safety programs
  • Monitor the efficient use of staff, equipment and materials and the contractual performance of the project; confer with project staff to ensure that assigned duties and responsibility are performed per agreed upon expectations
  • Supervise activities to ensure that the project is executed in accordance with standards/designs, schedules and budgets and complies with city, state and federal regulations
  • Provide technical directions for various phases of construction and make recommendations and assist with resolution of problems during project execution
  • Manage financial aspects of contract and monitor project estimates and costs
  • Assist in preparing and submitting contract pay estimate documents, material compliance reports and project closeouts
