Your role at Baxter
Provide functional leadership for design, delivery, and support of the JDE 9.2 manufacturing and related functions in Americas. Deep technical knowledge and experience with JDE implementation & support in a complex global environment. Partner closely with the business and other IT teams to develop, deliver and support enhancements and integrations that align with business requirements and Baxter standards.
What you'll be doing
Lead the functional design, implementation, and support of JDE based solutions that address business requirements and meet Baxter standards.
Provide end to end support for JDE Manufacturing and related procurement and inventory modules to ensure business continuity.
Responsible for establishing proactive maintenance processes, monitoring capabilities, performance metrics and SLAs for solution integrations.
Assist the system support team to drive root cause analysis on incidents and identify remediation to avoid future occurrences.
Participate in large, sophisticated, projects following Agile and/or SDLC methodologies.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and cost estimates for IT scope. Accountable for completing work you're doing and collaborate with business and IT teams to finish the project work.
Participate with business and IT to set technology strategy and roadmap.
Identify, evaluate, and recommend new technology solutions or improvements to existing technologies that support business and IT strategy.
Support development of business case for technology justification.
Collaborate with Product Owner to manage product backlog, prioritize projects and improvements based on impact and alignment with goals and strategy Serve as the liaison between business and IT.
Work directly with business partners to identify requirements and engage IT partners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Develop System documentation including specifications, procedures, and training materials Develop, prepare, review and document testing requirements and test data for complex system testing.
Identify and implement process improvements in the application architecture and/or infrastructure of the existing systems.
Participate in the building of new and ongoing application vendor relationships.
Provide input for contract negotiations.
What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
Experience with Supply Chain business processes
7+ years of JDE technical/functional experience in global environments. Preferred JDE 9.2 in a validated environment
Manufacturing and Distribution modules required
Proficiency within SDLC and Agile methodology
Hands-on experience with application and performance monitoring tools
Solid project management skills and experience deploying technology globally
Experience with validation procedures and security governance
Experience designing and implementing testing models and Standard Operating Procedures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to develop creative solutions that solve complex technical and business challenges
Ability to establish good relationships and work multi-functionally with a variety of business and technical team members at all levels
Ability to function in ambiguous circumstances and demonstrate flexibility
