Aquatic Swim Instructor - NCH Wellness Center
Location: Northwest Community Hospital - Arlington Heights, IL
Hourly
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday afternoons
What you will need:
The level of knowledge normally obtained through the completion of high school
Minimum two years' experience in related field required
Lifeguard certification preferred
USMS Masters Coaching Certified or USA Swim preferred
Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association required
AED required
Water Safety Instructor certification through accredited US Swimming Foundation
General Summary:
Reporting to the Group Exercise Coordinator, responsible for providing professional aqua fitness coaching instruction and lifeguard supervision to all NCHWC members and guests based on appropriate level of group or individual. Facilitates the proper usage of water activities, by members and guests, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment. Maintains awareness of the pool schedule, rules, and overall program information and presents that information appropriately.
