Position: Post-Doc Research Felllow (Orthopaedic)
Location: Skokie Hospital
Full Time
Hours: Monday-Friday, standard business hours, onsite

A Brief Overview:
We are currently seeking a postdoctoral scientist for the Orthopaedic Research and Biomechanics Laboratory at Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL- an educational affiliate of the University of Chicago.

What you will do:
Collaborate with Principal Investigator(s) and researchers to assist in the development of study objectives, design, and research protocols.
Formulate and conduct scientific experiments and analyses.
Performs complex data collection and laboratory techniques.
Analyze and evaluate tests and research results.
Replicate, refine and add new research approaches based on project needs.
Test, customize and implement new methods, procedures and techniques.
Develop and write advanced, comprehensive experimental protocols.
Monitor project developments on an ongoing basis. Propose and implement changes as needed.
Communication
Contribute to study literature by preparing study results, assist in the writing of research findings for publications, papers, presentations, grants, and other documents for publication.
This individual must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Assist principal investigator in grant and manuscript preparation and submission.
Staff Management
Guide, train, and advise lower-level researchers and students on techniques, methods, and study procedures.

What you will need:
Doctoral degree (PhD or M.D., including those conferred outside of U.S.) in medical or related field required.
Experience performing and contributing to in academic research throughout ones graduate studies.
