Description:

Certified hand therapist needed to join team providing care to direct referrals as well as MacNeal hand surgeons. CHT is responsible for traditional patient assessment and treatment by providing pre-surgical education, assessment and consultation in addition to post-surgical assessment and discharge planning.

This position functions as a mid-level provider, supporting a team of Orthopaedic Hand surgeons. This position expands upon traditional patient assessment and treatment by providing pre-surgical education, assessment and consultation in addition to post-surgical assessment and discharge planning. Contributes to the growth of Hand Therapy Services by assisting with the development of new programs and outcomes/research activities; acts as an operational and clinical resource for staff in areas of expertise.

What you will need:

Minimum Education:

Required: Masters Degree

Specify Degree(s): Occupational Therapy

Minimum Experience:

Required: 1-2 years of ortho/hands experience. 3-5 years of previous job-related experience.

Licensure/Certifications Required:

Basic Life Support (CPR)

Rehab – Licensed/Registered Occupational Therapist

Certified Hand Therapist- HTCC Certification
