Job Description
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team and provide exceptional technical support to our Greenville, IL manufacturing plant personnel. As an extension of our central service desk located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, you will be the go-to person for all hardware and tier 1 software support within the plant.Duties and Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of hardware and software issues for plant personnel.
* Provide tier 1 support for commonly used software applications.
* Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.).
* Document technical issues and escalate them to level 2 support teams using ServiceNow.
* Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while resolving user issues.
* Proactively identify and resolve potential IT problems within the plant.
* Collaborate with the central service desk and other IT teams to ensure seamless support.
* On-Call once every 3 months
* Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:
* Sociable and professional attitude is required.
* Must be self-disciplined to maintain productivity.
* Documentation and ticketing experience required.
* Effective written and oral communication skills
* Superior customer service skills
Education and Experience:
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Two years of Customer Service Experience.
* Two years of IT experience
Travel Requirement:
* Up to 30%
