Duties and Responsibilities
Loyola University Chicago Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging
The Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging is seeking a full-time board certified diagnostic radiologist with extensive experience or fellowship training in breast imaging. The candidate who takes this role will have the opportunity to join an experienced breast imaging team at our rapidly growing breast care program in the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.
Proficiency in reading digital mammography/tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and interventional skills for all modality biopsy guidance, required. The breast centers at Loyola Medical Center, Gottlieb Hospital and MacNeal Hospital are equipped with digital mammography/Hologic 3D mammography units, diagnostic US units, ABUS, breast MRI (3T), dedicated biopsy suites for stereotactic (3D) and US-guided biopsies.
Our group is committed to provide excellent patient care and high quality breast imaging, which has led to great relationships with our referring surgeons, oncologists and primary care providers. This will include coordination with breast surgeons, plastic reconstruction surgeons, pathologists and oncologists with regularly scheduled case conferences. You will be joined by a highly skilled, credentialed team of technologists, nurses and radiologists.
