The Senior Brand Manager is the Marketing team leader accountable for day-to-day management of the marketing line items of the P&L and owning brand building initiatives, including developing and executing marketing & innovation plans for Kimberly-Clarks U by Kotex business in North America. The desired outcome is sustainable organic growth with a clear foundation of consumer insights, brand positioning and innovation and marketing plans that result in sales, profit, share and equity gain. The Senior Brand Manager directly leads a team of Brand Managers and Associate Brand Managers while also leading agency relationships and influencing cross-functional partners in a matrix organization to include R&E, Supply Chain, Finance, Insights & Analytics, and Sales. The successful candidate will join the U by Kotex team and report to the VP of Marketing, Feminine Care.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Drive the delivery of business objectives for the brand including net sales, operating profit, gross margin, and dollar share by setting stretch goals, driving fact-based decisions and anticipating external opportunities and/or threats.

  • Be a trusted partner with cross functional teams by listening for feedback, check and adjust plans generating commitment and continuously raising the bar to deliver the strongest performance.

  • Deliver projects on-time by leading diverse cross functional team through the stage gate process and driving best-in-class launch execution.

  • Align with the VP of Marketing, Feminine Care to set Annual Operating Plan that delivers on strategic business objectives, as well as brand promise and purpose.

  • Engage and inspire the team across functions to ensure world-class brand building, driving step change improvements in capabilities/performance with urgency.

  • Partner with BU Sales on development, communication, and execution of Distribution, Pricing Shelving, Merchandising and eCommerce levers; Drive development of channel specific go-to-market strategies and plans to maximize presence in market.

  • Develop and execute marketing & media plans; ensure media investment and supporting marketing initiatives are delivering strong return and drive continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to understand the target consumer and track to metrics to evaluate our effectiveness in reaching that consumer; Use consumer research and business analysis to understand the competition, channel dynamics, data-driven media targeting evolution and sales performance.

  • Lead 18-month view of consumption and shipment forecasting for brand; Understand risk and opportunities with current year plan to deliver P&L and market share goals and drive continuous improvement of plans to ensure all financial objectives are met;...
