Job Description and Responsibilities

 

EVRAZ North America is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to join our North American team. The Senior HRIS Analyst is responsible for administering and enhancing the utilization of our HCM system, Workday. Responsibilities for this role include assessing system needs based on business requirements, troubleshooting current configuration, enhancing the overall use of the system, and end user training. The successful candidate will have experience in multiple functional areas of Workday, as well as a developed business acumen which will enable you to create strategic relationships with our users.This position is open to remote work in Canada or in the United States.

  • Consult with the organization on current business processes and how the HCM system can help create better system efficiencies and usability
  • Create partnerships across business functions to support and deliver enhanced system solutions to the organization
  • Work with internal stakeholders to gather and define system requirements, provide recommendations, document changes, and implement solutions
  • Support multiple functional areas of the system. Configure and implement business process and system enhancements that support business objectives
  • Provide functional and technical support, including answering user questions, and researching and resolving complex issues
  • Train business users on system functionality that will drive greater data integrity and overall quality of the system
  • Create reporting solutions that enhance the business abilities to derive data from the system. Train end-users on reporting capabilities
  • Support the Workday bi-annual release process by evaluating and testing new features and recommending changes to stakeholders based on business needs

 

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in human resources, business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience with Workday HCM in three or more of the following functional areas: HCM, Benefits, Absence, Recruiting, or Learning
  • 3+ years of direct HR experience
  • Experience in Configurable Security, Workday Integrations, and custom report design
  • Experience with Excel and Data Visualization tools; Excel proficiency should include using pivot tables and v-look ups
  • Ability to be a problem solver and propose multiple solutions for business requirements
  • Communicate technical concepts in a concise manner to non-technical business partners
  • Must be a solid team collaborator with the ability to lead cross functional teams; be willing to share, and receive, knowledge
  • Ability to manage partner resources (i.e. service desk and project partners)
  • Comfort with ambiguity and proven track record managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, union experience preferred
  • Kronos experience preferred

 

Compensation

  • $100,000 - $120,000
