Job Title : Medical Reviewer/Safety Reviewer
Length of Contract: 06 Months
Location/Site: Remote

Job Summary:
1. Will electronically review promotional materials and other materials and will provide medical expertise and expert review as described above. Including discussing and collaborating with appropriate review colleagues from other functions.
2. Will attend, advise, and approve in review meetings as the lead Medical Reviewer for the designated therapeutic area.
3. Will be responsible for providing proactive guidance as needed for brand concepts and campaigns.

Key Duties And Responsibilities:
1. For designated area of responsibility in Allergan Aesthetics, attends, advises, and approves in review meetings as the lead Medical Reviewer for promotional review.
2. Functions as lead Medical Reviewer and sign-off for all promotional materials.
3. Leads and contributes to medical promotional review
4. Provides proactive guidance as needed for brand concepts and campaigns. Engages Commercial business partners early in the development of promotional materials to enhance efficiency.


Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
* Advanced health science education or equivalent combination of education and experience required. (PhD, PharmD, or MD preferred)
* 1-5 years experience in clinical practice, academic research, pharmaceuticals, regulatory/scientific, or medical science liaison (MSL) environment
* Previous experience as Regulatory or Medical reviewer for promotional materials preferred (ideally greater than 1 year).
* Aesthetics experience preferred
* Medical affairs or medical communications experience preferred

Essential Skills and Abilities
* Ability to learn and convey medical information effectively.
* Works individually (reviewing materials electronically)
* Works collaboratively with other review team members
Represent Medical function in the Material Review Process (to
guarantee medical, clinical, and scientific data accuracy, relevance and objectivity).: Provides proactive guidance as needed for brand concepts and
campaigns. Collaborates with commercial business partners early in the development
of promotional materials to enhance efficiency.
Serve as a medical / scientific expert to advise commercial colleagues
on proper product and disease state claims development.
Engage with Medical Affairs Directors as needed to ensure promotional
materials are aligned with strategy
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of aesthetics knowledge,
techniques, appropriate medical approaches, competitive landscape, and patient
outcomes
At least 1 year of experience in a medical or regulatory review role
Aesthetics expertise on devices used in plastic surgery/regenerative medicine
Remotely, both individually (reviewing) and in a group setting (providing feedback and virtually attending review meetings to review upcoming and current promotional content).
Previous experience working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders/partners (i.e. regulatory review, legal, compliance, Medical affairs, commercial)
Previous experience within Medical Affairs or medical information or Regulatory
