Job Description

Position Overview

The Product Manager of eCommerce will be responsible for optimizing and enhancing the overall user experience of our websites. The position will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, development, marketing, and content, to deliver a seamless and user-friendly web experience that drives engagement, conversion, and customer satisfaction.

Note: While this position is tied to our Glenview, IL office, the work may be performed Remotely with some travel required based on business needs.

Responsibilities Include:

• Product Strategy: Develop a clear and compelling product vision and strategy for the website and platforms, aligned with the company's goals and user expectations.
• User Research: Conduct user research, gather feedback, and analyze data to understand user needs, pain points, and preferences.
• Roadmap Planning: Create and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features and improvements that align with business objectives and user needs.
• Feature Definition: Define detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, collaborating with design and development teams.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of web projects, driving on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Testing and QA: Oversee testing and quality assurance processes to ensure that website enhancements are bug-free and deliver the intended user experience.
• Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance of the website, define and analyze KPIs, and use data to make informed decisions for improvements.
• Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities and stay ahead in the digital landscape.
• User Feedback Loop: Implement mechanisms for collecting and acting on user feedback to iterate and improve the product.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a experience in a similar field/role.
• 3 years of experience in product management or development, with a focus on web experiences.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools, agile methodologies, and product management software.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and web usability.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
