Job Description
Prepare purchase orders for beauty products such as cosmetics, hair products, beauty supply, tools and equipment, based on inventory levels and demand forecasts; Monitor inventory quantities and determine merchandise needs; Address any issues related to order discrepancies, delays, or damages; Communicate with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers to schedule or expedite delivers and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems; Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and price lists; Track the status of contracts, orders, and shipment; Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for beauty products; Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to secure favorable agreements; Calculate costs of orders and forward invoices and related documents to accounting department.
