The Opportunity

Location: in-office in Detroit, MI or Schaumburg, IL

The Ally Dealership Insurance’s (ADI) Underwriting team, formerly named Property & Casualty Insurance, is looking for a highly motivated Senior Product Analyst. This role will work with the ADI Underwriting team and its matrix partners. This role will have high visibility to all levels of Products/Operations management and Senior Leadership. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated leadership, communication, and technical skills.

The Work Itself

  • Conduct periodic strategic reviews of the Ally Dealership Insurance (ADI), formerly named Property & Casualty Insurance, product marketplace and complete SWOT (strength, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) analyses in relation to Ally’s current ADI product offerings
  • Assist in the periodic refresh of ADI products
  • Assist in the development of proposals/business cases for governance approvals involving ADI products
  • Manage 3rd party provider relationships through business meetings and site reviews
  • Complete post-launch ADI product reviews to determine the success of recent product updates / new product introductions
  • Regularly collaborate with Compliance/Legal to ensure all Ally ADI products conform with existing and newly enacted regulations
  • Serve as subject matter expert on Sales Training sessions for product refreshes & new product introductions
  • Ability to summarize findings and provide recommendations to the leadership
  • Implement of new features/benefits to existing products
  • Updating products to ensure compliance with changing state regulations
  • Updating applicable administration guides, contract registration forms / customer agreements
  • Work with Marketing to update both dealer & customer facing point of sale materials/brochures and websites

The Skills You Bring

  • Project management certifications is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate across various groups within Ally
  • Ability to effectively summarize and present to various ADI product management and cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business related discipline
  • Knowledge of Microsoft-suite of products
  • Ability to prioritize and reprioritize tasks as circumstances change
  • Self-starter and high level of motivation
  • Previous experience with Property & Casualty Insurance a plus

Base Pay Range:

Emerging: 85000

Experienced: 117500

Expert: 150000

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan
