Principal Front End Engineer / React / Long Term Contract

$50/hr – $65/hr
A stable, Chicago-based company is looking for a Principal Front End Engineer to come modernize their Front End in React. This is a remote friendly role.
This team is relatively senior and have all been at the company for a while. They’re looking for someone with demonstrated tenure in their past roles who can come in and own their Front End development. You’ll be very well-skilled in React and general JavaScript. Any experience with a smaller team will be a plus to see. If you’re looking for a place where you can take on ownership and help with the direction of the Front End for a widely used platform, apply!!
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Required Skills & Experience
+ 5+ years of professional React experience
+ Strong Front End development
+ Tenure in past roles
+ Experience owning full SDLC
+ Strong CS Fundamentals BS+ in CS/STEM/Related
Desired Skills & Experience

+ Experience working in smaller teams
+ Experience in the legal software space
+ MS+ in CS/STEM/Related
