Solutions Engineer (Linux Engineer)BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Solutions Engineer V for an opportunity in Chicago, IL || Richmond, VA || Jacksonville, FL!
Position Title: Solutions Engineer V
Location: Chicago, IL || Richmond, VA || Jacksonville, FL
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 12 Months.
Job Type: CONTRACT, (Hybrid)
Shift: Monday- Friday (5x8)
Pay Range: $50 - $55/hr.

Job Description:
- Systems Administration (RHEL 6, 7,8 and 9)
- Packer/Golden OS image Creation
- Selinux / Fapolicyd
- System process utilization and monitoring
- Automation - Ansible, BladeLogic
- Programming Skills - Shell, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, etc.
- RPM packaging and yum
- Version control - git, bitbucket, etc.
- Jenkins CICD
- Testing, troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Product Evaluations
- Clear technical and user documentation skills in English¿
- Linux Firewall configuration
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, EC2,
- Virtualization vSAN, (storage), NSX (network)
- Automation Orch VCAC/VCO JavaScript
- Storage VMAX, VNX, FC, FCoE
- Security Syslog/NG, Splunk/Cloudera, Qualys, VMWare VCM security integration
