Overall Purpose
The Enterprise Risk Governance and Change Management Director is responsible for maturing, integrating and overseeing the enterprise risk change management framework related to the development of new products, systems, and other initiatives across the Company, and establishing an effective 2nd line of defense change management oversight program.
Essential Functions
Drive, manage and enhance the Company's Product/New Business Initiative Risk Change Management program, working cross-functionally to evolve existing policies, standards and procedures to ensure appropriate coverage for new initiatives across the Company and alignment with other policies, frameworks and processes.
Ensure risk change management processes are in sync with current and evolving business and regulatory requirements
Understand the Company's strategy and roadmap, and create framework and standards, to identify initiatives that should be channeled through the program
Develop, implement and maintain a 2nd line change management oversight program to include appropriate documentation reviews, risk assessments, credible challenge, testing reviews, and appropriate metrics to track success
Develop and implement reporting on risk profiles related to new business initiatives and change management for presentation to senior management and appropriate enterprise risk governance committees
Support Sr. Director, ERM to drive and embed a risk culture throughout the organization, with a focus on the product and technology teams
Interact with other second line teams to develop and evolve tools to ensure compliance with policy and regulatory requirements
Ensure appropriate escalation of business decisions where there is a disparity of views across functions.
Conduct post-mortems with business teams on key initiatives to understand performance of the initiative against KPIs and identify risks since launch, their root cause and any required 1st LOD action plans.
Support the company's commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and/or experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor's degree or equivalent
10+ years' experience in risk management processes, with demonstrated experience developing and implementing enterprise risk change management programs related to the development of new products, systems, and other initiatives
Experience with the "three lines of defense" model
Strong understanding of compliance and risk management frameworks such as COSO's ERM Framework,
Demonstrated aptitude to think strategically, provide thought leadership to the organization and execute program initiatives
Experience interacting with executives and functional business leaders through all levels of the organization
Ability to understand and be responsive to the business's needs and partner cross-functionally throughout the organization to achieve results while mitigating risk
Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to identify practical recommendations in an evolving and complex regulatory environment
Excellent written and oral communication, organization and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate and build trust in business partners.
Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and drive decision-making
Ability to manage change and learn quickly in a dynamic business environment.
