Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Building, repairing, and modifying plastic injection & blow molds.
- Build jigs and fixtures as needed.
- Build or modify stamping dies.
- Perform mold and die maintenance when needed.
- Must be proficient performing in house operations including milling lathe, grinding, conventional EDM, using manual machines.
- Must abide by Greif's safety standards.
- Must thrive in a team environment.
- Must maintain good attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) .
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Tool Maker or Mold Maker
- Must be proficient using measuring instruments used in a Tool Room.
- Must have own tools.
- Must be comfortable with precision close tolerance machining.
- Must be comfortable working in a prototype / R&D tool room.
Knowledge and Skills
- Demonstrated ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries.
- Thorough understanding of production equipment.
