Job Description

The Edelman Business Marketing Team is a group within Edelman focused on driving results specifically for Corporate and B2B brands utilizing a mix of communications and marketing strategies.

We work closely with our clients to elevate brand awareness and positioning, engage key audience groups, drive conversions, deepen customer loyalty, and enable sales. Our team members have expertise spanning disciplines including content creation, channel strategy, digital marketing, lead generation, marketing automation/CRM integration, social media, paid media and ad buying, public relations, and customer communications, and employ comprehensive, multi-tiered approaches that achieve long-term client goals and vision.

Our team provides counsel, strategy, and support across a number of B2B capabilities, including:

- B2B marketing strategy development

- Messaging development

- Earned media strategy and engagement

- Audience segmentation and targeting

- Lead nurturing, scoring and management

- Creative content development

- Marketing operations systems use and integration

- Social media strategy and engagement

- Sales enablement and support

Responsibilities:

    • The Account Supervisor is an integral part of the Edelman Business Marketing team, serving as a key driver of day-to-day client tasks, manager of workstreams and lead of strategy execution.
    • Working closely with staff at all levels, the Account Supervisor must be a strong project manager as well as exhibit working knowledge of overall communication strategies and tactics.
    • In addition to managing an account, the Account Supervisor can independently manage a PR workstream with support from junior and senior level colleagues.



Specific Responsibilities:

    • Contribute to creation of integrated PR, marketing and communications plans that meet B2B client objectives
    • Help plan and coordinate programming that integrates traditional earned media with paid, social, and owned media efforts, as well as sales outreach/lead generation
    • Serve as direct contact for client communications, from outreach through follow up
    • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills with clients and internally
    • Manage multiple projects from conception to completion, ensuring execution of client-ready deliverables within a specific time frame
    • Consistently produce high-quality internal and external communications content
    • Adapt seamlessly to evolving client requests
    • Aid in new business process including idea contribution, research, and proposal preparation
    • Commit to continuous learning; set and pursue stretch goals
    • Delegate to and mentor junior staff



Basic Qualifications:

    • 4-5 years of relevant experience in B2B marketing and communications and related fields including PR, content development, digital/social media, email marketing or research.
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field
    • Basic knowledge of key platforms and channels for B2B marketing, including but not limited to social media, paid media, email and others
    • Exhibited ability to work on multiple accounts, assignments and/or work streams
    • Strong organizational and project management skills
    • Strong research, writing, editing and client interaction skills
    • Natural curiosity and willingness to dive into various roles on client work
