What We DoBusiness Process management roles lead resources dedicated to the analysis of processes, procedures and work instructions and are focused on driving improvements in efficiency and quality through more effective business processes, elimination of non-value added or duplicate efforts. Provide leadership and manage execution to help define and evolve business processes, evaluate quality issues, measure current process performance, analyze root cause defects, and develop targeted process improvement opportunities with process owners/business leaders. Plan and implement quality assurance and compliance processes. Partner with other groups to maintain alignment and continuity with business objectives.

What You'll Do

The Director, Business Process provides strategic leadership and manages teams to define, evolve and execute business processes. Directly oversee multiple departments/teams and partner with cross functional leadership to maintain alignment and continuity with broad business objectives
Strong focus on examination and quality improvement efforts
Serve as the Underwriting liaison for redrafting procedures to meet our customers' needs
Directs activities for evaluating and optimizing business processes focused on improving operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability
Partner with business leadership, Operations, Customers and Underwriting in the execution of strategic projects and evaluate the success on an ongoing basis.Engage subject matter experts and cross-functional groups for input and suggestions. Contribute to next generation strategy initiatives and pressure test various proposals and initiatives
Serve as a peer to Directors and act as a leader for our division, our customers and our underwriting contacts
Implement goals, objectives, and work standards for the department. Provide documentation, tools, and training to support the adoption of new business processes
Ascertain opportunities to develop initiatives and execute common procedures and best practices from within the industry. Applies policies and procedures that comply with regulatory and statutory guidelines, rules, and standards.
Directs the selection of staff and provides for their training and professional development to maintain effective morale, productivity, and discipline and manages teamsof employees focused on process and performance improvement.
Drive the in-depth analysis of existing workflows, identify areas needing improvement, and implement change.
Establish process and tools used to collect and measure relevant data; produce data-driven analysis of critical functions. Consult and advise leadership on process and performance improvement opportunities
Representteam to ensureidentified business needs are communicated to the impacted parties while developing changes to process that will impact all groups. Work closely with technology team to envision, design, and test varying enhancements and initiatives to improve workflows and ensure cohesive cross functionality in the organization
Direct efforts to inform and educate business leaders regarding change management projects which will impact production and/or work processes.
Manage automation strategy goals as well as maintenance of all automation processes throughout the operation.

What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree of equivalent combination of education and experience; advanced degree preferred
10+ years of directly related experience
Requires very strong examination background and extensive knowledge of the industry
8+ years progressive management experience
