Job Description
Job Duties: Responsible to direct business process improvements through the DMAIC cycle; Evaluate and understand processes by mapping, gathering & documenting process steps; Analyze and identify root cause(s) and types of waste and propose solutions; Ensure business excellence and continuous improvement of operational efficiency and effectivity by designing and developing solutions using Robotic Process Automation, Virtual Agents and AI components; Support ZF to become a data driven company with process excellence by following Lean Principles and Analytics Maturity Model; With respect to process improvement projects, performs project manager responsibilities (e.g., complete project charters, budget, resource plan, build project team, steer project execution); Develop and maintain a clear interface between IT and Business by translating business needs into system solutions & vice-versa; and Identify and train members of the organization in process management tools, process-optimization mindsets, and share knowledge across local process experts. A hybrid (in-office and telecommute) work schedule is available.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field, plus 3 years of experience in occupations in which business process and systems experience was gained, and demonstrated experience with: Leading complex projects using waterfall and agile concepts; DMAIC process improvement concepts; Microsoft Platform, including RPA (power automate desktop/cloud), Power BI, and Power APPs; and SAP, including materials management, purchasing, production, and planning modules.
