Job Title: CATT Software Developer Sr

Location: 30 S Wacker Drive, STE 3300, Chicago IL 60606 *may work remotely from anywhere in the US.

 

Duties:

Create documentation including requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, feature description PowerPoint decks, user guides, process flows, wireframes, and newsletters. Assist product owners in leading, directing, and reviewing all activities associated with delivering technology products. Collaborate with other Tax Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), technical teams, and project managers on development projects during all phases of software development life cycle. Conduct design thinking sessions to gain insights into end user needs. Manage product enhancements and work with the product owners to prioritize requirements, define and manage scope and sprints for a project. Provide operational support to tax practitioners. Configure SharePoint features in production and non-production environments. Works in collaboration with other software development professionals to complete tasks. Communicate effectively with the team and others across the organization. Research, document, analyze and interpret information based on client and team expectations; uses problem solving and analytical skills to formulate and share recommendations and Solutions. Manage and prioritize workload of self/team to meet and/or exceed expectations; may delegate work per direction of team leader(s); proactively makes leaders aware of conflicting priorities and offers solutions. Expand knowledge and awareness of internal industry specialists and SMEs across the firm to address technical issues and add value to client relationships. Understand Scaled Agile framework and applies ceremonies to actively work as part of Scrum team to deliver Tax solutions that drives digital transformation. Deliver production-ready code using agile ceremonies and meeting daily to share progress and identify blockers where they need help (or escalation). Proactively resolves conflicts in a timely manner; is a positive role-model that embraces change, and strives to be a productive member of the team.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related; 2 years of experience as a Developer, Software Engineer or related, which must include: Develop, configure and maintain virtual software robots using UiPath, Blue Prism, and Automation Anywhere for the automation of repetitive, rule-based tasks in a scalable environment. Write code using C#, VB.NET , Python, and Java to build applications that run cross platforms using Object Oriented Programming. Utilize SQL Server for data gathering and visualization using Power BI, Project Management and Version control using Azure DevOps, Jira, GitHub. Integration of modern and legacy systems using Application Programming Interfaces and Machine Learning Technologies including NLP and ICR.
