Job Description
Jaime Gatenio (Glencoe, IL) seeks a Nanny to care for two children in private household. Specific duties include: planning and preparing nutritionally balanced meals and snacks for children; doing laundry; helping children with homework; evening babysitting; organizing play activities and outings for children; driving children to activities; performing light housekeeping; running light family errands; and performing other various tasks in order to ensure children’s needs are met. Must be fluent in English, including ability to read and write for communicating via text messages. Position requires occasional travel within the U.S. Optional on-site housing provided, but live-out OK.
Position requires a high school diploma, or foreign equivalent, plus 3 months of experience in the job offered, or as a Nanny, or similar position caring for a child or children in a private household. Specific experience must include: preparing children meals and snacks; doing laundry for children clothing; instructing children in safe behavior; instructing and assisting children in the development of health and personal habits, such as eating, resting, and personal hygiene; and organizing indoor and outdoor play activities for children. Must be fluent in English, including ability to read and write for communicating via text messages. Must be willing to occasionally travel within the U.S. Optional on-site housing provided, but live-out OK.
