Job Description Summary
The Senior Instructional Design Architect is responsible for working together with Learning Advisors in identifying project needs and requirements, collaborating with experts, conducting research and assessments, utilizing theories and other studies in developing instructional materials, and subjecting the materials into different inspections to ensure quality and accuracy. Additionally, a senior instructional designer must utilize their expertise and experience by training and supervising junior designers while implementing policies and regulations. The Senior Instructional Design Architect will report to the Instructional Design Team Lead and will closely collaborate with the following teams: Learning Operations, Learning Experience Architects, Learning Advisors, Programs, other Instructional Designers and niche areas in the HR Community to create effective and engaging learner experiences.
What Youll Do
- Conducts needs analysis.
- Develops content in various formats, including but not limited to, online (formal eLearning, videos, etc.) instructor-led courses (in-person or virtual), performance support resources (job aides), and reference guides.
- Successfully manages the design and development of multiple Learning projects, and ensures the design is engaging, high-quality, and interactive.
- Defines project scope, tasks and produces training project plans. Monitors and tracks progress, schedules and timelines.
- Facilitate project completeness including project evaluation and assessment of results using key performance data and measurements.
- Support the development of a change management strategy and/or communication plan for larger initiatives.
- Manage the end-to-end analysis, design, development, and evaluation of multiple learning solutions for a complex learning project(s).
