About the Role

Uber Health is on a mission to change the way people engage with healthcare for the better by streamlining care coordination, improving the patient experience, and driving better health outcomes. The Government Partnerships team works alongside regulators, policymakers, and other key stakeholders to expand access to care. We are looking for a Government Partnerships Manager to broaden the adoption and utilization of Uber Health’s solution within government healthcare programs across transportation and delivery.

This self-motivated individual contributor sits at the intersection of a number of teams in a highly cross-functional and visible role. The Government Partnerships Manager will collaborate internally with business development, account management, operations, legal and policy. Externally, they will represent the face of Uber Health with key government and industry stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly detailed and process oriented with the capacity to serve as a trusted advisor across external partnerships and internal projects.

What You’ll Do

+ Work with regulators, policymakers, and other key stakeholders to expand access to care by removing barriers to transportation, nutritious foods, and prescriptions

+ Create and deliver customized presentations and proposals for external stakeholders – helping to educate them and inspire them on the value of Uber Health’s approach

+ Research existing government program policies and develop briefings on changes within the NEMT and Social Determinants of Health landscapes to guide strategy development and facilitate interactions with key stakeholders

+ Identify and execute on opportunities for Uber Health to operate within additional government healthcare programs

+ Develop and manage scalable processes to facilitate the implementation of our Government Partnerships priorities

+ Collaborate with internal (e.g. Legal, Policy) and external stakeholders on enrollment and advocacy opportunities

Basic Qualifications

+ 4+ years of experience in business development, management consulting, strategy, private equity or similar role in the healthcare space

+ Experience working within the U.S. healthcare industry with a firm understanding of payers, providers, healthcare trends, and regulatory requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree required

Preferred Qualifications

+ Strong communication and influence skills with experience working cross-functionally with many teams and partners

+ Extremely proactive, self-starter with strong project management and execution skills

+ Experience in market intelligence research and regulatory analysis

+ Experience working with government healthcare agencies and/or state Medicaid programs

+ Degree(s) in Business, Public Health or Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or relevant field (particularly MPH, MBA MHA)

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$99,000 per year – USD$110,000 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$110,000 per year – USD$122,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$110,000 per year – USD$122,000 per year. For Washington, DC-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$110,000 per year – USD$122,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber’s bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
