The Role
This position is responsible for Salesforce Commerce Cloud administration, configuration, and development. Building, enhancing, and maintaining our strategic web properties is the focus of this position. Driving digital adoption amongst our users and customer base is key to our success.
Seeking a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer who has experience in Salesforce Reference Architecture (SFRA). The candidate will be responsible for working closely with the product owner along with a cross-functional team to design and engineer solutions meeting customer B2C Commerce requirements and delivering new commerce capabilities. Able to provide Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) technology expertise for solution design and technical implementation which include design, code, unit test, code reviews, and iterative improvements to the platform. Maintain and document processes/procedures and provide seamless hand-off to business users to utilize.

This is a work from home position in the United States.
The Main Responsibilities
+ Working experience with designing and developing solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C on Salesforce Reference Architecture (SFRA) is required
+ Drive and manage the ongoing development Commerce Cloud tool and web properties
+ Support adoption and integration of Commerce Cloud into related areas of the organization
+ Responsible for coordinating development of complex Salesforce product(s) from conception to delivery to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives.
+ Gathers data on market conditions and customer requirements to assess appropriate implementation or management of Salesforce product which maximizes revenue and margins and aligns with corporate strategic direction.
+ Collaborates with wide variety of functional areas such as sales, product, marketing, engineering, IT, and operations to develop/implement enhancements for Salesforce products.
+ Develop efficient and effective processes for rapid business solutions
+ Develop, test, demonstrate, and support Salesforce system configuration solutions – reporting, workflows, custom objects and fields, data-extensions, automations, dynamic content scripting and templates to support our ecommerce transaction web properties.
+ Knowledge of digital commerce components such as users, catalog, pricing, inventory, and payment.
+ Fullstack development knowledge specifically around server side and client-side JavaScript and MVC architecture
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
What We Look For in a Candidate
+ Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or similar degrees
+ 2-3+ years experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (or related DemandWare experience)
+ Salesforce Commerce Cloud certification preferred
+ Knowledge of digital commerce components such as users, catalog, pricing, inventory, and payment.
+ 2-3+ Experience with server-side and client-side JavaScript
+ 2+ years hands-on experience in web technologies including: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, JQuery, web analytics, XML, web services (SOAP/REST), and open-source packages/libraries
+ Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA).
+ Experience with Git source control, CI/CD tools, and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Slack
+ Structuring ISML files based on the design wireframes.
+ Good understanding of styling best practices on SFCC.
+ Experience creating components in page designer.
+ Extensive knowledge and experience on all part of SFCC MVC model.
+ Experience with VScode.
+ Integrate commerce cloud with 3rd party/backend systems leveraging link cartridge/OCAPI/custom services while ensuring scalability, performance and coding guidelines
+ Well-versed in Agile/Scrum development methodology and experience with Jira/Confluence
+ Experience with web frameworks, interactive web development, responsive web design
+ Experience with site speed optimization
+ Experience and working knowledge of secure development practices
+ Knowledge of digital commerce components such as users, catalog, pricing, inventory, and payment.
+ Fullstack development knowledge specifically around server-side and client-side JavaScript and MVC architecture
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation
The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee’s primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
Location Based Pay Ranges
$80510 – $107340 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.
$84740 – $112980 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.
$88980 – $118630 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.
$93210 – $124280 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
As with the pay range variety that’s based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
