Overview

The Technical Project Manager will plan, establish, and manage Information Technology (IT) projects and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects. Working under the guidance of the IT management team, the key areas of responsibility include project coordination; service integration and availability at all locations; organizational and relationship management; business analysis and leadership; staff and resource management. The ideal candidate of choice will understand and demonstrate competencies in various Information Technology platforms to include IT data center, Disaster Recover / Business Continuity Planning, hardware, software, application support and development, current OS and database architectures concepts, network design, performance tuning, project management disciplines, capacity planning, security and compliance, documentation, security and compliance.

Responsibilities

+ Manages assigned IT projects to ensure project charter creation, scope of project, adherence to budget, schedule, meeting coordination, deliverables, and accountability.

+ Project Charter – develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects including the project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.

+ Must understand IT Budget Planning requirements and cycles.

+ Sets and tracks project milestones in assigned tools, manages, and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.

+ Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to involved staff and stakeholders.

+ Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.

+ Identifies special requirements and training necessary to seamlessly integrate and support new products, services, technology.

+ Ability to identify gaps within the project that can negatively impact systems security, compliance, governance, and availability.

+ Ability to identify impasses, resolving or escalating for quick resolution and continuous improvements of project execution.

+ Manages, tracks, and communicates status, issues, and next steps at the time of a technology rollout.

+ Post deployment – monitors user experiences to ensure timeline/deadline/solution delivery agreements are successfully adhered to.

+ Updates and closes projects organizing post-launch meetings and documentation updates.

+ Performs other related duties as assigned.

+ Proficient with Microsoft’s suite of products and related software services.

+ Ability to motivate groups and people to complete a project in a timely and efficient manner.

Critical Qualifications:

+ A bachelor’s degree in computer science or closely related Information Technology discipline preferred.

+ Five years combined work experience as an advanced level resource in a complex application, hardware, and systems project management role.

+ Previous experience working in the Emergency Medical Services, Medical or Healthcare industry is preferred.

+ Understanding of applicable industry regulatory compliance requirements to include SOC and HIPAA governance is preferred.

+ Previous experience in a call center operation is preferred.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is consistently required to sit, stand, walk, talk bend, twist, stretch, use hands, fingers, handle, feel; communicate professionally and effectively, listen, hear, see, and remain alert and always engaged. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus. The employee is commonly required to work under high pressure in a fast-paced environment with employees in multiple states and in multiple locations. Travel to other company and incident locations as required by critical business needs and objectives. Lifting requirements of a minimum of 50lbs. Work Environment: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly in verbal contact with others and constantly works face-to-face with and around others.
