We are hiring experienced Maintenance Technicians for our site in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. You must have at least 5 years of Injection Mold experience. This is a Direct Hirect Hire Permanent position. Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Read, use, and interpret measuring devices, gauges and inspection tools
+ Perform all required necessary preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment
+ Check and maintain quality of product in accordance with Quality policies and procedures
+ Answer machine alarms and address the root cause.
+ Follow all 5S guidelines. Perform and document inspections
+ Lock Out/Tag Out. Diagnose and troubleshoot any pneumatic or mechanical malfunction on a variety of machines
+ Adjusts assembly machine units for major/minor lot production operations following department specification
+ Repair and maintain electrical controls on equipment (molding, assembly and packaging machines), including servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines and devices primarily on the basis of electronic principles
+ Upload programs to controls
+ Repair robot arms and controls, including replacing bad boards, motors, encoders, etc.
+ Calibrate and adjust robot pick and place locations if needed
+ Conduct TPM activities. Input Maintenance work orders into (SAP)
+ Monitor processes. Perform required preventive maintenance
+ Perform root cause analysis for safety, quality, and processing issues
+ Able to fluently operate presses, robots, and auxiliary equipment to dia
+ Restores damaged or malfunctioning equipment to operation by repairing, replacing and or adjusting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
+ gnose malfunctions and verify repairs.
The essential functions of this role include:
+ working in a smoke free environment
+ wearing steel toe shoes
+ working in a non-temperature controlled environment
+ manual lifting up to 40lbs
+ standing for 12 hours at one time
+ working up to 12 hrs of overtime per week
+ working weekends
