Hiring Mechanical Assembler /1st ,2nd shift/$20hr/St Charles, Illinois.
Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler responsible for the assembly of electrical products. This position will interpret assembly and elevation drawings, construct electrical products, and use a combination of hand and power tools to ensure the highest quality in our products.
+ Interpret assembly and elevation drawings
+ Construct electrical cabinets
+ Read tape measure
+ Experience using manual hand tools (wrench, screwdriver, pliers)
+ Experience with power tools (drill, impact, pneumatic torque wrench)
+ Read, and understand blueprints, schematic drawings to determine wiring layout
Job Requirements
+ At least 2 years’ experience as a Mechanical Assembler, Machine Builder or even Automotive
+ Mechanic working in a more job shop environment and not on an assembly line
+ Must have knowledge of electrical symbols and schematics
+ Perform basic computer skills
+ Must be able to use shop equipment and hand tools
+ Perform basic math functions including an understanding of fractions and decimals
+ Must take direction, follow instruction and work with others with a positive attitude
+ Must be able to read, write and converse fluently in English with the level of competency that will permit the applicant to function in the position. Examples of job duties that require a high level of English fluency are: Facilitate department huddle;
+ Collaborate with engineers and project managers; Assign duties to team members.
