  • Major Duties :
    • Lead/contribute to the development of key business unit, technology and corporate strategies on platform, capabilities, growth, performance, talent, and new business opportunities.
    • Leads financial analysis support for IT/business alignment, business case analysis and presentation, corporate development opportunities and cost/benefit analyses to support transformation.
      • Manages and/or participates in business case analysis to support the strategic direction of the business.
      • Present business cases and other analysis to upper management and continue to enhance the asset servicing business case process
    • Build and maintain relationships with business unit and functional leaders, their teams, and members, able to influence across various levels.
    • Dissect problems using qualitative and quantitative research and analysis, inductive and deductive reasoning, abstract thinking and root-cause analysis.
    • Serve as internal consultant to drive completion of strategy projects, working with the IT and the business as a client.
      • Analyze total cost of ownership for our business application architecture, compile financial data, ensure data completeness and accuracy, and recommend opportunities to better align IT and business capital and expense management and allocations.
    • Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertise
    • Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues. Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective.
    • Leads special projects and ad hoc financial analysis requests to support the business unit.
    • Focus of role is on execution of strategic direction of business function activities
  • Knowledge :Excellent oral and written communication skills are required to present relevant information to senior management. In-dept knowledge of internal cost allocations, financial analysis, and reporting usually acquired through an advanced degree program or related work experience is required. Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint) is required
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills required to evaluate financial results and projections.
  • Experience :A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience in accounting, reporting and financial analysis is required. An advance degree in Accounting for Finance and/or related industry qualification is preferred.
