Sales Specialist, Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO)

At Bridgestone Retail Operations the Customer is #1 and our field teammates work every day to service their needs. BSRO, with over $4B in annual revenue, is the industry leader in Complete Auto Care with over 2200 locations across 4 brands operating in 48 states. The Sales Specialist position is responsible for working with field leadership and agency partners to provide local marketing support across the chain. This role will work with automated request platforms to ensure timely responses, pushing work flows through completion and looking for ways to increase marketing efficiency and value to the field. Additionally, this role will place a strong emphasis on the BSRO Store Remodel initiative will serve in a project manager capacity and will be responsible for coordination of several 3rd parties (both internal and external to BSRO) . The Field Marketing Lead role is an excellent opportunity to join the BSRO marketing team to make an immediate impact while learning the many exciting areas of the auto service retail business.

Responsibilities:

  • Store Renovation Support: Resource will receive, resolve, or move to the next level at BSRO; any calls, emails or other issues received from the various teammates or vendors during the mini store renovations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Align material delivery schedules
    • Coordinate schedules with real estate etc.
    • Address instore materials needed during renovations
    • Address vendor issues during installation
    • Schedule any necessary project meetings
    • Provide regular reporting metrics
  • New Store Opening Support: Resource will be NVISION lead POC and work closely with BSRO New Store team to plan and execute all new store/grand opening tasks
    • Attend and participate in new store opening meetings
    • Review and manage new store opening schedule and timelines
    • Manage new store opening marketing material requirements
    • Identify any offer-lap with FFE marketing material
    • Align shipping for efficiency and ease of implementation
    • Place and track orders to arrive at appropriate time related to “Now Open” launch date
    • Place and track orders to arrive at appropriate time related to “Grand Openings “dates
  • Grassroots Website Maintenance: Resource will have responsibility for ongoing maintenance of website, specifically for 3rd Party Vendor integration
    • Approver Management: Manage through any area manager/finance manager staffing changes, geographical redistricting, and update approval process as needed.
    • Item Maintenance: review items on web and provide recommendation on website changes including web images, key words, long descriptions, catalog/category structure, audit of dated / obsolete marketing material.
