Job Description
Apex Logistics International (ORD) Inc. Bensenville, IL. Accountant. Perform cost analysis for the company's operational expenditures including air and ocean import and export, domestic trucking, custom bonded warehousing, and custom brokerage services. Review accounting activities to create budgeting plans and forecast risk. Evaluate financial matrix to identify areas of improvement and develop cost reduction initiatives using accounting, economic, and financial analysis models. Analyze balance sheets, income statements, and other business-related financial reports to facilitate cash flow analysis. Create reports to compare factors affecting profitability and efficiency of each logistics provider. Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and management team to provide cost-profit analysis and pricing comparisons.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, and 2 years of experience as an Accountant, Accountant Assistant or related in the Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain industry. Apply at careers@apexglobe.com.
