Job Title: Operator Trainee

Job Description

Join our dynamic production team as an Operator Trainee, where you will engage in the critical handling and processing of medical products and devices. Your primary responsibilities will include operating on two main sides of our facility: the Loading side and the Unloading side. On the Loading side, you will unwrap pallets of products, accurately place them on conveyor belts, and ensure they are correctly positioned in totes based on digital instructions for sterilization. On the Unloading side, you will retrieve sterilized products, carefully unload them, and re-palletize them using specific methods to indicate sterilization completion. This role may require operating a forklift occasionally, although this is minimal.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Gurnee, Illinois.

Work Environment

Our facility operates on a 12-hour rotating schedule, which includes night shifts and weekend work. The compensation varies from $17 to $18.87 per hour depending on the shift. The work environment is clean and organized but can become warm during summer months. Safety measures are strictly followed, especially concerning radiation used in sterilization processes.
