Position OverviewThe Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and energetic individual to serve as Administrative Case Review Support. Under direction, this position will serve as secretary to administrative and professional ACR staff. The position will review case materials to ensure accuracy of information prior to computer entry and enters data from a completed Case Review Information Packet. The position will also independently proofread case review material and exercise independent judgment in determining the length of time required for individual case reviews after reviewing case file and assessing pertinent information. This position provides a great opportunity for someone who is detail oriented and interested in playing a supporting role in the Department’s operations. Job Responsibilities1. Serves as Administrative Case Review (ACR) Support
2. Reviews case materials to ensure accuracy of information prior to computer entry
3. Independently proofreads case review material, utilizing Department Rule and Procedure as guidelines
4. Serves as liaison between Administrative Case Review staff and Department caseworkers, private service providers, and other appropriate staff regarding the scheduling and timing of administrative case reviews
5. Prepares detailed monthly statistical reports on compliance with Department Rules and Procedures
6. Receives notification of new and/or continued cases for review
7. Monitors monthly implementation of case reviews mandated by Department Rules
8. Participates in orientation for ACR staff with regard to case review scheduling
9. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
